Terrace garden are plants and vegetation growing on roof or balcony. A garden with native/suitable plants growing in a substrate medium, which is sustainable & light in weight. Terrace garden can comprise of a lawn or assorted all weather plants or seasonal plants or organically grown vegetables. A terrace garden is the logical choice when considering environmentally sustainable design in buildings in urban areas. They benefit the environment in a number of ways.
